Abbie Cowlard has won the ladies County Championship at Delamere Forest Golf Club. Abbie’s 6 under par gross in her second round was the lowest score of the competition and included no less than seven birdies and an eagle. The putter was on fire as Abbie had a total of fourteen putts for birdie or better, and holed quite a few of them.

During the knock out stage Abbie won 4&3, 7&5 before winning 4&3 in the semi final and then 2&1 in the final.

Abbie is the assistant professional, and plans to commence with her PGA training later this year under the expert guidance of Andrew Myers. Abbie has been regularly coached by Andrew for several years now, on all aspects of her game and the result is a magnificent victory.
